Title: Sounds Interesting for Broadband Customers...

If this goes through then instead of them saying up to eight Mb broadband they might have to give you a realistic estimate of what you will really get. Most are now getting less than half of the ideal.

And if its significantly lower you will be able to change packages or back out of the deal completely - without penalty. If it works there may be some improvement in the system.

Im upto 8meg as well. My router says its connected at 8meg which is good. But on any speed test, I always get around 2.5meg. Doesnt matter what time of day I do it at either.

Jess has 1mb Virgin media, but Leila being as clever as she is downloaded a file at 700 mb, she logged into upstairs, some will say thats wrong, Im proud Leila is so clever, I can see her owning her own IT company.

Edit: A cheap router blocks intruders, so if people log into your unprotected account its your fault.

So your daughter set something to download on your connection, then used another computer to download something else using someone elses unsecured connection?

yup something like that, they dont live here so I cant ask what she did exactly. but using her mums connection she got a max of 0.8 MB, using someone elses she got 700 MB, they live in a block of 4 flats, i assume shes connecting to upstairs.
