Im sorry Knighty but this made me actually LOL to the point where my office mates started asking what was so funny.

I had a diamond pick in my single player, it lasted AGES. This combined with the put it down and its brand new bug should mean we wont need another one for a long while.

Oh yeah the diamond axe should be in with the tools, the diamond tools dont seem to damage at all really.

Bacons seen it, look for the skybridge, and the cliff face in lights

If you make a boat, and sail off to the island behind the base, theres a hole, take torches.
Theres loads of rooms, and caverns.  Everytime ive been in it ive come out fully loaded.  Im trying to make a tunnel to get back to the base easily, and maybe send a mine cart.
Oh, and make sure you have a compass.

Thats my current goal, get enough diamond down in the shaft to make enough diamond picks for all etc.

I also just hit an underground cave system at the base of the shaft of penetration, theres a river flowing out of one of the walls, and up there it looks to be pretty big. I ran out of time for now but will be back later.

I might have to sort out a better server.... the cpu is going 100% most of the time just to keep up.... nothing else running... and all the windows services disabled that I could !   (I could probably build something with the bits I have, old laptop was just easier)

cant say on as long tonight (it was 4am last night.....)

but if theres a few of us on I could run the server on my desktop for 20 min and see if it makes any difference.... for all I know the server could just be using up extra cpu cycles pre-cashing or something..... it runs at about 50% cpu with no-one connected.... (its an old 1.6xp iirc)

Every time you come back on theres loads of new stuff now.

Ive built a bridge with help from Walrusbonzo and Bacon (the lava walkway underneath it is rather cool). Server just being restarted and will be back in a moment.

It seems when theres more than one person on the server it lags less for me. I dont know whether the increased amount of actions keeps the server sending and receiving data?

I "May" have access to a dual xenon server, in a rack in manchester thats currently running a kerio email server...as long as the processor usage wasnt too much and I could hide it

Failing that, I have an Very-PC Atom based Broadleaf sat under my desk doing downloading duties, and its always on, 1mbit upload from it.
