Anyone else watching it, my god the new friendly Terminator is a foxy lady! (Unsure how old she is like)

Just watched it, seems pretty cool - looking forward to the next.

Ep 1 and 2 are out and about now, watched both last night.

Been looking forward to it since watching the leaked pilot last year, Summer as terminator is great! :D

I liked what they changed in the 1st episode over the pilot, they added quite a bit more background. The 2nd episode was quite cool aswell, I will continue to watch it :)

Just started watching it, wasnt expecting much but the first episode was very enjoyable. Im looking forward to following the series as a kind of separate "this has nothing to do with the films" type of show.

The actress who plays Sarah is no Linda Hamilton but she certainly does a good job, as does the guy playing John Connor. The evil terminator is quite good, again not as good as Arnie or Robert Patrick but is certainly better than I was hoping. Even the girl playing Cameron (who I thought would be a real weak link) is not so bad.

I even managed to forgive the rather obvious means to get it to 2007.   -)

- It is tied to the movies and as you see more episodes you can see the links but it goes over the top and well there is not one terminator :P but it half makes sense but the things you will see need to as it is a series so you kind of forgive that but it does tier into the movies

Ill just imagine it as existing seperate to the movies, works better for me. For chronologies sake I think it either goes

T1-T2-T3-T4

or

T1-T2-Sarah Connor Chronicles.

You have to discount most of T3 as they do things in the series completely contrary to events in the film, but obviously there is plenty coming from T1 and T2. Since T4 is set to follow on where T3 left off it appears the franchise is dividing into two distinct, seperate story arcs with T1 and T2 serving as the main source material for both, but both "versions" veering off after T2.

Im really enjoying this too, its a lot better than I thought it would be.

Summer is so much cuter as a Terminator than in Serenity :wub:

not really... dont really follow scifi series. Prefer programs you can pick up & put down as you feel.

Thats good, Im only on EP4, it means Ill have time to finish watching this and catch up on Heroes.

Just finished watching all this. Eipsode 9 was amazing, totally agree with the above sentiments.

I guess Ill have to get back to watching Heroes now!

Kinda agree and disagree. I like both for different reasons. The main reason I like stand alone episodes is that it doesnt matter if you miss an ep or two.

The amount of series Ive ended up not watching because of not seeing the vital first episode or similar is ridiculous. This series is included. Unless I go and download the whole run I doubt Ill ever watch them :(

Slightly confused by the fact that I thought at the end of Ep 1, they jumped BACK in time (Hence the same place different when bit). But Johns just looked up details of the "bank robbery", so they jumped forward in time? (Thought they went from 1999 -> 1997 or something)

They jumped forward from 1999 to ensure that its set "now" in the present day. This was a cunning ruse so that they can avoid having to dress all the sets as though they are a decade old and can avoid any criticism levelled at them for missing things that arent correct for the time period.

Strangely Ive been forced to come to the conclusion that its a Cameron thing, not a Summer Glau thing. When she was in Firefly I wasnt interested, and when shes playing Allison in Sarah Connor Chronicles Im not either.

Picked up Season 1 on Blu-Ray and finally watched it all the way through and was riveted, so Ive been grabbing season 2 in HD from the usual sources and watching them in batches of three and four. Fantastic stuff, cant wait for the Season 2 Blu-Ray although I imagine itll be a while.

Sadly the consensus appears to be that there will be no third series, so while Ive just gotten over Battlestar Galactica coming to an end now it appears that a show which is almost as good and stands head and shoulders above most TV is now due to end soon.

Oh the humanity of it all. I think Im still scarred for life after watching Space : Above and Beyond when I was younger and seeing the horrendous cliffhanger the show was left on when they decided not to renew it for a second season.

Great ending to series two. Hope they get another. Need to know what happens to John Henry. :)

Im going to be watching the final episode shortly... by God this has been a brilliant series, really engrossing stuff.  :bowdown:

This and Heroes are definitely the two best produced series recently, no contest. I hope there is a third series.

I thought how they killed off Reese was shocking and all too sudden, but maybe that was the intention...

Ohhh, will have to see if theyre around the usual sources now, as that mid season break was annoying.

Dammit, thats an epic cliffhanger of an ending, it does set things up nicely for a third season though with the emphasis being back on Sarah.

Nige, I dont know if youve seen the last episode yet but (spoiler ahead)...

....Reese is back in the last moments of the final episode when John gets ported into the future

Yep, I have seen it now! They really have set this up nicely for Season 3, I really cant wait. :bowdown:

Finally finished watching it.

The last 2 eps are amazing in how it all plays out. Certainly one of the best endings to a series Ive seen, leaving me totally looking forward to if they make a 3rd season!

Officially cancelled. I have no idea why this show didn't get the viewers it needed? :disappointed:

Maybe a rash decision from the TV company? ...With the new film just around the corner, if it is any good it would have attract new viewers to the next TV series I'd bet.

There are those purists who feel the terminator franchise died after T2.

Lets just hope that its a cancellation like Family guy was. Maybe with the way series 2 ended, the studio doesnt want to fork out for the bigger set budget that will be required for the next season!

So far it looks like only one outside source has mentioned the cancellation. Hopefully its just someone being pessimistic, Ausiello was the one that announced it had been cancelled months ago when the sets were torn down which proved to be completely false.

In other news people are reporting various sources at Fox twittering about a 13 episode season on Friday nights and Human Target being cancelled, and The Hollywood Review are staying tight lipped but theyve pulled Human Target from Friday nights (perfect for TSCC).

Nuts. Looks like its official.

Im still secretely optimistic that itll get picked up again, maybe after the success that will be the new terminator film...lets face it, then fox will be happy to cash in.
