Managed to get tickets to the Bourne Ultimatum preview for Motorola staff at BAFTA hq last night.
I really enjoyed the first Bourne movie and the second wasnt bad either. The third was better than the second in my mind, a real adrenaline rush. Yes it uses the whole shakey cam thing a bit too much like the second one which pisses me off, but besides that I thought it was great.
Much more in line with the Spooks style of spy stuff than Bond. I like Bond but I do get bored of the OTTness of it sometimes.
Anyway Id recommend going to see Bourne.
Dammit i was hoping they would calm down on the shaky cam thiny... the car chase in the 2nd one was just sickening
I loved it, a lot more car chases and fight scenes than the previous 2 i thought? very enjoyable :)
Excellent movie, but are they going to make another, as there are 2 more books after this.
I personally like Matt Damon in this role and reckon this is every bit as good as a Bond movie for suspense and intrigue....
Cheers

I dont think they should to be honest.
Yes theres a few more books (one of which I was given after the screening I went to, The Bourne Legacy) but its written by a different guy... and even then, I think its a nicely packaged trilogy. The story goes of in a different direction from book 4, i.e. no more identity issues.
in theory this is the last one to made into a film.
It wouldnt however suprise me to see more down the line no he remembers and it turn into a US version of James Bond - but afaik there are no more planned.
I thought this one was outstanding! Thought the other two were okay, but not brilliant. Would love them to do another one as good as this one.
The first was on the telly last night. I got back to see my sister watching it so I sat down for a part of it.
Noticed a few things that they tied into the third, i.e. when Clive Owen pops it and say look at what they make you give which ties in with the roof scene in NY in Ultimatum, and the select commitee meeting at the end mentioning Black Briar.
I love the endings with Moby - Extreme Ways, but it worked especially well in Ultimatum.
Great film! A few slows bits I found, but the action was absolutely amazing!
i saw it on sat and thought it was briliant. its got to be one of my favorite set of films, the story is just amazing.
i was sitting quite close to the screen tho (got there late, bloody women) and the shakey camera thing in the car chases and fights made me feel quite sick in some parts.
