Didnt think much of the original at all.
I didn't mind the original. Generally the vast majority of modern comedy ranges from the bland and banal (Hot Tub Time Machine) to the utterly awful (Meet The Spartans). The Hangover made me laugh a few times so it's already doing much better than other recent comedy films. I don't hold high hopes for the sequel though, surely it'll just be more of the same?
I was surprised by The Hangover being actually quite funny too, but as you pointed out is more of the same a good thing? Who knows maybe they will come up with something even better. I won't be taking out a bank loan to go see it at the cinema though.
