Title: The policeman in House...
Post by: Serious on May 26, 2007, 20:48:08 PM
For many reasons this is becoming a problem for me, by now any reasonable lawyer would have filed for harassment and kicked the cops arse out of the series but for the plot to continue hes left in. IMO its spoiling some of the episodes.

There is also the problem of House signing for someone elses drugs, the first thing that Cutty would have made sure of was that the dispensary would refuse House any drugs no matter who they were for.

Anyone else watching?

First part, yes, but that last thing they want to do is involve the courts as that would lead to an investigation.

As far as I can tell House signed the as the paitent for the drugs or did I get that bit confused?

I quite like the cop story line personally, it adds a bit to the overall House is a brilliant Arsehole that has been done to death a bit in the first 2 seasons. I admit Id shop the git first change I got and get him thown in lock down.

Thats the whole point, hes a doctor that they would all recognise. Cutty would have stopped him picking up prescriptions anyway. He could never have gotten into that position.

Secondly he could have gotten the drugs in several other ways - such as internet or illegal drugs suppliers that would have better fitted the storyline. The policeman intercepting his illicit drugs in the mail would have been a better option.

As for the court item, it is only necessary for them to prove that the policeman is being excessive in pursuing the alleged crime and they would have to put someone else on. Hes got a problem with self interest in the situation anyway so its unlikely they would let him do the case.

I think hes a projection for Houses comatose brain after the Keratin treatment and being shot.

Hell wake up and cutty will be in the shower..you mark my words.

I hated the policeman in house, glad when that storyline ended.
