Not quite sure why, just thought I'd share the loathing.
I know what you mean.
Which one was he from Scan btw?
So he quit his job to start a youtube channel? he doesn't really know what he's talking about, he's saying that gaming will be massive and that people will be sponsored to play games? Wasn't that big back in the 90s?
He doesn't have a USP, he doesn't seem that good at anything, and he quit his job to release a couple of youtube videos, couldn't he have just done that before quitting?

Sorry! ;D
I didn't really watch that much of it, but the bit about "Doing as many BETA's as possible" i did wonder if he realises he will be under NDA.
So is anyone else jacking their jobs in then to do youtube videos? I think I might quit and just film 1/2 hour long 1080p videos of inanimate objects starting with an ironing board.
That's actually a good idea, infact I'm going to challenge myself to get more hits than the majority of his videos, perhaps something good from this thread is born after all.

Yes and you can call your Youtube channel Fruitshoot cus thats about as related to what your going to do as Modshoot is to Gaming? Unless i missed something rather quite obvious!
There are actually a few people (http://www.youtube.com/user/BlueXephos#p/u) on Youtube that do make a living (http://www.youtube.com/user/TotalHalibut#p/u) from this kind of thing, but really to be succesful it's more about being in the right place at the right time, with content people want, rather than anything else.

You had to link to a channel that seemingly is using the GOW3 Advert before their videos! Don't tempt me into buying another 360 for GOW3!
You get ads on youtube still? Don't you use adblock?
Adblock ftw :D
There are some amusing people on youtube but most of it is utter sh*te. There are quite a few times when I find myself just getting angry at the excessive stupidity of some of the comments on videos.
The problem is that there are too many people that genuinely believe they are special, funny or have something worthwhile to say when the reality is far different. I honestly can't understand why vlogs and all that sh*te gets watched by people, but I'll happily watch the likes of people doing something more extraordinary like FPSRussia, EpicMealTime (which seems to be running out of epic now) and a few of the gamers/reviewers channels like BlueXephos (they can't play games that well except for Minecraft, but they are funny guys and British which makes a change).

I agree with this.
I also add the comments are great, most of the time the comments are more fun than the videos!
