Paolo Nutini - New Shoes (http://www.radioblogclub.com/open/57554/paolo_nutini/06-paolo_nutini-new_shoes)

Clicky to listen :D

Any other nominations or anyone agree? this is by far the greatest summer feel good hit this year. Its awesome. Makes me feel like grabbing some mates, getting down a bar with an outdoors dance floor, and a decent dj playing some summer tunes like this, and dancing the day away whilst drinking some equally trendy cider (magners, bulmers, westons old rosie ;))

lol yeah, well its no Dimmu Borgir, or Deicide, but for a feel good tune I reckon it rocks :D

What does do it for you?

To be honest I dont have very many feel good songs that are modern and would be considered mainstream, for me feel good songs place me somewhere, at a time, event or bring up memories, the song doesnt even have to be that good, and unfortunately there has been absolutely nothing that floated my boat at all in the past few years.

Glancing over my "dump" folder for random mp3s some feel good songs from the past are Everybody Wants To Rule The World (Tears For Fears), The Impression That I Get (Mighty Mighty Bosstones), United States Of Whatever (Liam Lynch), Dont Stop Believin (Journey), Return of the Mountain King (Bob Catley), and a very guilty pleasure... Sunchyme (Dario G).mp3

It annoys the s**t out of me.  Mainly becuase he is one of the laziest live performers I have ever seen.

Paolo Nutini is awesome ... have got his album and its one of those albums where every track is very very good!  High recommended purchase!  Have it playing in my car quite frequently.
