Anyone know where I can get a cheap France map card or files for the Go 500?
Im sure you could "aquire" the world maps if you have a look around ;)

Of course knighty wouldnt be suggesting piracy, there are plenty of world maps out there. I have a nice big world map on my wall.

Have a look on Amazon, you might be able to pick up a Western Europe map for about twenty squid. Or look on fleabay, but watch out for pirates there and pay via paypal.
Moving to software
One thing that did make me smile... Last car I hired I rented a Tom Tom (left mine at home). she said they have a big problem that they have to provide full maps, etc on the SD card and people just swap the cards over. Obviously you could read/copy them but people just nick them lol.
Not a solution to your prob (search engines are easy to use) but thought it was funny :)

I think were going to use a map for France. Im not paying for a new SD card for one trip and I cant get any "other" methods to work so its back to basics!!
