GoW is built on the UT3 engine IIRC and just look at how sweet that is :)

It is lucky though that most of these games with direct x 10 is the big jump for a while, then for the time being its more cpu and memory it seems with regard to pushing more physics elements to the games and making the worlds more interactive

Should M$ loose conrol of Direct X as punishment? Then it could be produced for XP, Linux, Mac...

The only reason I now have a copy is games, and without those I would switch to Linux.

Dunnu, but tbh you have to say that directx is the dogs bollux in terms of what it can do and how its made, one of the rare things MS do well


The gaming developer kit they made as well for example xna - very good, and you should be seeing some freeware games on xbox live at some point this year.
