right plugging in my phone to my home comp using usb and the computer itself hisses at me, then after a few seconds resets..

on the screen it does pick the phone up, and appears to be installing the driver... but dont get that far

it works with other devices like usb harddrives etc, and i have tried it in 6 different usb ports on my comp...

Could try installing the drivers prior to plugging the device in? I know some USB MP3 players used to have a fit if plugged in without the drivers being installed before hand.
