Title: Vista upgrade
Post by: saynor on January 28, 2007, 11:49:09 AM
I bought a sony Vaio in the time scale where you get the coupon for a free upgrade for premium edition.

I have rang them and they said I cannot use that number to order, he mentioned debit cards are not working so now i am trying to use a credit card.

But guess what it now doesnt even let me to payment screen I keep getting
"Were sorry but we are unable to validate your COA Number. "

I am inputting it correctly as I have done it so many other times.....!!!! What can i do now ???

Also when i click on "check existing order" and then put my COA number it it finds it and listing how much it will be etc...

Its says:

Order Status : COA validated
Shipping Date :
Carrier : Standard
AWB# :

Does this mean because I have been to the end so many times its ordered but not ordered or does it mean someone else has used my number?

No need for that.

I point you to your comments and questions in the cycling forum, you ask alot of questions like this one over there and you dont get replies like that, so treat others as you want to be treated.

Glad I could be of service. A hit with the common sense truck clearly works.

As for:
QuoteEr.. Maybe someone has been in same situation.

Do you really think you should rely upon someones opinion on an internet forum, when its your credit card details, and your money involved? hmm... Thats twice Ive had to run you over with the damn common sense truck! :D if there is a third... Ill charge you for my time! :D

Just before its locked heres what Id do.

Write everything down clearly on paper, dates/numbers/facts/figures etc. Then ring the number you previously rang and politely ask to speak to a supervisor/manager.

Explain the situation calmly, stating facts where appropriate. Youll find that even if it is impossible to solve, they will more than likely investigate the problem to stop it happening to other people.

Wherever I work, I hate it when people ring up with a bad atitude, no facts, and just a random issue or complaint.

Hi mate,

I am not able to take it out an anyone and I wouldnt, as like you say I wouldnt want someone to do it to me, otherwise I wouldnt help them.

When i ring the number it just rings rings and rings for like an hour and I cant keep on.
