Title: What causes lag?
Post by: Eagle on July 30, 2008, 23:40:13 PM
Real crappy lag on my connection today - 497m/s :( :( :(

What causes lag to suddenly drop from an average of 33m/s to this?

 :disappointed:

Crappy ISP, crappy equipment somewhere (outage forcing more people onto one pipe), problem with your computer...

It can be interfereance from electrical items, radio masts, etc. Problems with Wi-Fi links or just the internet traffic at the time.
