planning to buy my sisters (x2) and mother a wireless Skype phone each for Christmas....
anyone have any recommendations ?
google found 100 million to choose from
wireless would be best (all have wifi)
and a one which can do both voip and landline calls
(so they only need 1 phone for both)
I have and use daily both a RTX Dualphone and a Netgear SPH101.
They're both much a muchness but for some unquantifiable reason I'd say that the RTX just nicks it imo.
I have the base station(s) in my office at the front of my house; plugged into to both LAN and POTS. I have no problem using either phone anywhere in the house but I can only get about halfway up my garden (at the back of house) before the signal drops. I guess that's going to be somewhere around 25meters (and 3 solid brick walls).
