I was under the impresion the movie and TV renting service was in full swing over in the states and we arnt going to see it for a while still (after they have solved all the problems)

Just as Dooms has said, the movie download service is already running in the US, but over here MS need to get different licences as different companies distribute the movies, so it could take a while.
As for a web browser, I dont think MS have ever said that theyll be adding one.
I think as Wii and ps3 are looking to have browsers, then 360 needs to think about making one.
Wont be hard to add one, they are only small programs and it already supports USB keyboards for text entry :)
Gametrailers has videos of gameplay. Apparently its been "done" for a month or two.
