Just trying out gdmflexiserver on ubuntu

Never worked for me, though I can switch users without logging out.

Its good for me cause we have a few account on this computer. means i can admin from my desktop :woot:

Install it in synaptic - search for xnest

IIRC its "Sabayon" too
EDIT: no its something else

I dont have any drivers loaded apart from the standard ones

Dont forget your using Dapper - its still in beta

it never worked in Breezy either, and Dappers cooked except for corporate polish being added.

Dapper doesnt work at all on my machine so something is stil wrong

Dunno, but you could likely install it after editing xorg to use vesa, and perhaps a kernel boot option.

After that, install the proprietary driver.

hmmm, I can do non nested flexiserver and switch between my guest account and my primary with a quick crtrl+altf7-8
