Title: WTF adware?
Post by: DEViANCE on December 06, 2012, 18:13:43 PM
I've been getting adverts on the bbc news site for a while now and no AV/Adware remover can find a problem.

Now today I have started getting random links inside words that popup with an advert.

Anyone know what is going on?
Is it time for a fresh format?

a couple of sites seem to think my DNS servers have a problem, I think I am using google's DNS.

found the link problem, it was embedded adware inside a firefox add-on.

Seems to be getting more common now, I had one hijack chrome and insert Linkbucks links to random sites every time you opened a new link, a lot of them seem to evade the anti malware/spayware apps better too :/
