Is there a cheaper way of getting my xbox wireless? I mean will any USB one work with it?
nearly £60 for a USB wireless adapter seems abit excessive, same for £130 for a 120Gb HDD though i suppose.
Wireless access point with a cable going from the AP to the Xbox.
It would mean another link in the chain though
Xbox -> AP -> Router
open Xbox, remove wire, close xbox, done.
Note it may not work after this, at least not until you put the wire back.
[edit]Could someone give me one star for this? its crap! [/edit]
Original Xbox wireless adapter will work or something like Linksys Wireless Game Adapter will work.

pcworld its 49 if ordered online, then pick up at store
other option is if can upload a DDRT firmware to an old Wifi router
You cant use any old USB wireless adapter. It either has to be the official one or one that plugs into the network socket.
