Title: XB 360 Wireless adapter
Post by: DEViANCE on December 28, 2007, 21:58:43 PM
Is there a cheaper way of getting my xbox wireless? I mean will any USB one work with it?

nearly £60 for a USB wireless adapter seems abit excessive, same for £130 for a 120Gb HDD though i suppose.

Wireless access point with a cable going from the AP to the Xbox.

It would mean another link in the chain though

Xbox -> AP -> Router

open Xbox, remove wire, close xbox, done.

Note it may not work after this, at least not until you put the wire back.

[edit]Could someone give me one star for this? its crap! [/edit]

You cant use any old USB wireless adapter.  It either has to be the official one or one that plugs into the network socket.
