Title: xb360 network share
Post by: DEViANCE on November 18, 2006, 16:36:23 PM
i have been trying to get my xb360 to play music/vids off my pcs on my network. when i go to the menu on the xb it says i have to go to
www.xbox.xom/pcsetup
and download some software. so i did that and it takes me to the zune webby, so i download the zune software like it tells me.

When i open the zunesetup.exe it opens ok then when i click on next it starts doing something and then nothing happens and the only option i have in the zunesetup is close.

anyone know what is going on?

Dont get sent to the Zune site here. It gives me the correct Xbox 360 Media Setup page where you can download the XboxMCELite-ENU.exe

After installing this your 360 and PC should sync up.

When I choose XP Service Pack 2 it pops up asking me to download the XboxXPSP2-ENU.exe

I would have thought after you installed that, itd sync up with the 360 like the Media Center version does.

You should be going to http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/pcsetup/alldownloads.htm to get the download as this is the UK site. The Zune is only released in the US at the moment, this is probably where you are going wrong.
