Title: XBox 360 Ethernet cable length

Ive decided to take the plunge and buy a 360. Can anyone tell me how long the included ethernet cable is, please?

I didnt get a Ethernet cable with mine but I ended up with a core on release :(

Do the premier packs come with one? If so im guessing they would only be a couple of meters max. Any longer and they want you to spend the Ã,£60 for the wireless thingy

Yeah, premium includes it. I would have thought it was a decent length since most people are going to have the console on the living room and their router somewhere else. I have a cable that just reaches the bedroom PC this is replacing, but it isnt long enough to allow me to pop the XBox on top of the chest of drawers.

Is it really that long :o

Mines still in the box as a side note, I believe you can run Cat5 upto 100m before you should install a repeater.

Yep thats correct :) tho its normally around 90m before some things start geting picky

premolded with anti snag boots, about 10 meters long with the premimun i got

I think I may need to move the wireless router into the bedroom then and run a length of cable to the adsl router for it and then the 360 off that. Cant be arsed with picking up a 20m Cat5 cable for dear knows how much.
