Hey Guys,

My mate is thinking of buying an Xbox360 but is moving to Japan in 3 months time. Whilst Japan is region 2 he was just wondering if it is possible to take the xbox over with him and use it fully (xbox live etc) whilst there. Would there be any problems in registering here and then connecting to Xbox Live there? Im not too sure and he would like some clarification before going out and spending money on one!

I think the only thing that could cause problems would be the payment perhaps? If he is getting new credit cards, etc. he may have to switch them over?

Depends. it may be cheaper for him to wait and buy one there? :shrug:

Japan are NTSC we are PAL

Only problem Ive had with Live is that you cant change your original country setting once youve registered. It works fine otherwise.
