Title: XDA Mini S?
Post by: Beaker on January 25, 2007, 11:09:05 AM
Anyone got one of these?  Im considering one, on my contract as theyll let me have it at no cost.  I would prefer the Zinc when it comes out as its 3G, but thatll be expensive.
Can anyone give me their opinion?  Before someone starts recommending the N-Series I dont want one, an XDA will mean I can cover out of hours at work without hanging around the office or home.

Couple of easy hacks available too to enable the Wifi-G mode, also, install magic button to make the X in the corner actually close the apps.

I had a proper look into this, the O2 shop offered to buy out my contract that is direct with O2 online.  How that works i dont know.  However O2 dont give you any data allowance at all, you have to buy extra products to get any, and even then its a hard cap with a charge if you go over your limit.

I think im going to go on Orange, and ger the M3100.  Its a hell of a lot better smartphone, and pretty much the same size (I think its about 4mm taller), with pretty much the same features.  I was actually going to opt for the XDA Zinc, but the M3100 looks to be a better deal with the unlimited Web+Walk package.  They have a "fair usage" clause saying i should keep my traffic to less than 1Gb per month, but thats fine.  I doubt ill break that.
