The most interesting thing on it is the controls, if they can get enough quality games that use those effectively out the door then they are onto a positive winner.

Some how I cant see nintendo running out of inspiration.  One thing they have allways managed is quality products, time after time.

Wherever it comes out in sales figures comapred to 360 & PS3 say in 3 years time, its allmost certain they are onto a winner.

By way of NexGen Wars, Wii has already sold nearly 7% of the number of consoles the 360 has in a year, and this is still before the Japanese and European launch. On the first day.

I can see Wii having outsold the 360 before the PS3 even launches over here.

Three words: Longest. Preorder. Ever. 8)

Definitely worth it though, its so good Ive finally moved on from my Oblivion (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Elder_Scrolls_IV:_Oblivion) addiction.... is that a good or a bad thing? Oh well at least its not WoWcrack...

The trailer for Zelda TP on television is really good, but did anybody think that was more or less the GC version, in terms of its graphics, then again trailers are normally compressed i guess.

Might have to get the GC version to bid the machine farewell and go out with one last bang. :_(

TBH the wii isnt that much graphicly better than the GameCube, it never was ment to be... however the Zelda on Wii has Wiimote play stuff!! :D

It is slightly better graphics but not much, It has The ability to render and have more on screen though and see further etc, But its all about the gameplay really.

Which is all basically a euphamism for We cant afford a nextgen console because the last couple almost bankrupted us so well throw the same old tired guru at a few sequels and a novelty controller....

Im an eternal Nintendo hater btw.

I hated all the Mario games, and especially the Zelda games - even the name is retarded!

Or, we actually want to stop the trend of ever rising production costs and the cost to the consumer at the point of sale.

Whats novelty about it? Its hardly the first time a company has attempted such a method of playing.

Worth a read...

Nintendo are doing good marketing for a zelda title? In the UK? No sexism even? (remember the ad for ocarina of time?) :P

Just reached the second dungeon (20 hours in)..this is definitely a close tie with both Dreamfall (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dreamfall:_The_Longest_Journey) and Oblivion for my favourite game of 2006.

Ocarina of Time was pure gaming perfection, and this somehow manages to top that. Awesome. :D

Arigato, Shigeru-san. ^_^
