I love the German-ness of the guy. He seems to appreciate everybody on the planet except for "black Africans" as they giggle at him when hes making herculean effort, but brushes it off as perhaps an entitlement of colonial history. :lol:

Id like to know how he got by on 75p or whatever a day. Did he live on sewer rat?

More like the kindness of strangers. If I saw somebody on a cast iron three speed with such determination, Id surely buy them a burrito! :lol:

Theres only so many days and so many countries where strangers will be around to help you out though. He obviously did survive somehow, anyway :lol:

That isnt the difficult bit, you can live on 75p a day in the UK providing you arent too choosy on how you eat, Freegans certainly could do it very easily. In many other countries the prices of foodstuffs are so low you can buy enough to live on for less than 50p a day. Many people actually do live on as little as that in the third world.

No need to eat rat onna stick or inna bun.

Ive stayed in a Ryokan before, I also own a Yakuta like the one hes wearing  in that photo; they are very comfortable to wear whilst trying to sleep in high humidity. :)

Well having it stolen in the UK makes for the 5th time its been taken since he started. Its amazing that hes found it/gotten it back every time. :)

Hes probably used to it by now. :lol:
