Got ADSL now at the country house as well only 230 kb/s down and 66 kb/s up (0.2 mb line) but way better than K56V90 :D :D :D :D :D

How far are you from your exchange Bear?

About 3-4 km this is a cheap account pay as one go 10p/mb
but never more than Ã,Â£20/month. Ã,Â£22.50 to join including
modem/NAT/router (adsl2).
