http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/9607763/Muslims-protest-age-of-mockery-as-thousands-descend-on-Google-HQ.html

A whole crowd of people shouting, angry at their own misunderstanding of how the internet works. :muttley:

Even if Google/Youtube were to take the video(s) down (which they clearly aren't going to), it's already available on thousands of other sites/places.

knighty

lol... the best bit is... how many people didn't know anything about... but googled it as soon as they heard about the protests ?
(just like I just did)

I have grave concerns about these people.

I wish I could laugh at them, but I find their tendency to resort to violence in retaliation for perceived "offence" deeply concerning.

Well, the worrying thing is that they haven't really kicked off yet, but it's only a matter of time.

Age of mockery? Age of stupidity more like.

Surely blashpemy only applies when you actually believe in this sh*t yourself? It's very sad sign that in this age of wonders like putting a rover on Mars we are still in the business of giving leeway to these fanatical halfwits and not telling them to piss off with their fairy dust sprites.

skidzilla

Yup. Personally, these days, I like to think of deities/prophets as "imaginary (and/or dead) friends for adults". :P

We used to have a muslim moderator on here, went after raving at me for suggesting a list of options that a burka could be used by criminals to disguise themselves while doing their illegal acts...

...that was a few months before a male muslim bomber tried to escape detection by the British police by wearing one...

There are however fanatics on all sides, and not all of them are religious.

Sam

I think we all know that anyone who follows the Muslim faith seriously is a little bit odd.

Serious

Anyone who follows religion or science tends to be 'a little odd' in my books. I do both so therefore I'm doubly 'a little odd'

Walrusbonzo

Seriously, in this day and age, is there any need for religion?  I think not.

And extremists are just crackpot scary.
