Goblin

I remember Nige sending me a hard drive with enough bubble wrap to keep the kids entertained for the next month. And a pirate smiley.

Have used Tek a few times since the "old crew" moved on and the service is still great. Would always be the first place I check (followed by CCL who are also great).
It's all fun and games until a 200' robot dinosaur shows up and trashes Neo-Tokyo... Again.

Agreed.

Tek, it really is about time you did something about that website, its not too dissimilar to when I was there.  It was bad then!

I still use Tek as of course I worked with the new team for long enough too, theyre a good bunch and always pack my orders well to my standards :)

I wouldnt touch ebuyer either though after they messed me around on my first order and I eventually cancelled it.

White Giant

As we are sponsered (?) by Tek I will recommend them on here, but I personally use Scan and Ebuyer since ole Sammy left.

true, we have had sam working on something for a couple of years it just needs finishing and rolling out... regarding the range is there anything you guys want us to stock do let us know.

if theres a reason why you stopped shopping with us since Sam left and we can improve the service let us know too.   we do try and still go the extra mile by checking batch numbers etc on cpus and revisions on mainboards

The only reason I stopped shopping was because Ive not upgraded my PC for many years.

Due an upgrade though.  Perhaps you should pick up where Komplett left off with bundles.
I know that Bit-Tech have the whole "What should I buy for £xxx", why not bundle these items as a kit?
I can no-longer be bothered to hunt for the parts and stuff, so If I can just click buy on a bundle, WIN!

Im after a Thai bride named Mai Ling.....
Career, Wife, Mortgage... my sig was better when it listed guitars and PC's and stuff!

Sweenster

I had a bloody awful experience with e-buyer, used to use them a load.

I ordered a set of 7.1 speakers from there, first lot turn up and they are a cheap 5.1 set instead, sent them back, second lot turns up and it was the right box but it was missing over half the components. I think there was a sub and a couple of wires in the box.

I gave up at that point and just asked for my money back.

That kind of problem should never happen twice. If you make one mistake you make damn sure it is right the second time or you lose the customer.

They lost me anyway.

humm good idea wouldnt take too much either. we have on a to-do list a bundle configurator (people could choose there cooler/cpu combo) for the new site but we could at the moment just offer 5 of our most popular bundled offerings. Ive also been considering bringing in Mini ITX stuff - anyone interested in the new zotac nforce 775 mini itx board?

Quote from: White GiantBeen using Ebuyer for years, never had a problem.

Im in a similar boat. 1 problem which was sorted very quickly and the parcels that were not with my consignment were sent out the next day.

I just bought 2 32" TVs from them for the office, one was knackered and the TV was sent back under a nice fast RMA process and the usual City Link guy came in today to collect them.

If they had sold me 2nd hand goods Id be on to the phone to Trading Standards or some one.

soopahfly

Im not so sure about Mini-ITX.  Its quite specialist still.  Are you big enough to make it work?

mr_roll

Im always interested in new products, however I never have the money to buy them - or Im saving the money for something.

On a side note I got another TV today, it obviously wasnt the same one or a new one but it worked, which is what we want for the office. 4 working day RMA for Ebuyer. Canny good.
