Just posted a thread in the hardware forums & it is awaiting moderator approval?????????? eh????
then went to post one in here asking about it & that is awaiting moderator approval - ne chance you can take off the awaiting moderator approval thing
not entirely sure its a bug, but I lost the forums for about 3 hours this morning, just got the temporary one instead. Strange thing was, Shakey was sitting next to me in the IT room on the same connection and it worked for him fine.
ahh well, its back now.
That will most likely have been a DNS issue. The forums are now on a different server hence why its now on port 80 instead of port 81.
The "mark threads read" button in each forum doesnt work, and theres no "mark all forums read" button on the main page :(
That may not actually be a bug, more a "feature" of this forum software ;)
The only bug I see is the background colour, its burning my retinas. :P

New thread moderation *should* be disabled now so instead of going into a queue it should just be posted now.

This isnt a bug as such but Im sorely missing the little icon at the beginning of thread titles which takes you to the newest unread post in that thread. I live on opening new tabs with that thing! :)
Its still there. Its just not at the start of the thread title. If you look to the right of the posters name there is a tiny picture and its clickable. I am not sure if it takes you to your first unread post or the most recent post in the thread...

It takes you to the last post. Not great if a thread is 5 pages long and you cant remember if youd got to page 2 or 3.... I know other forums running this software have such a button in the usual place :p I miss it!
Er.. the forums dont seem to like refreshing. Ive forced refresh on them about 5 times and posts disappear and reappear at random.

lol I hope this is just another "temp" forum :) Its a pain in the arse to use :)
Perhaps it would be wise to develop our own forum software. Theres a crapload of php developers on here and database lovers, we could crack out a simple forum in no time at all, and code modules to fit into it for functionality.
Would be nice to undertake as a forum group. Set up some proper management of the development and have at it creating our own.
Nexus would probably be up for it. I certainly am... and im sure others would be to. Make it as usable as invisionboard only developed by us, for us.
Ill go through and edit some of the emotes so they work with our favourite shorthands.
Need a mark all as read button on the front page big style.... Also a new design layout would be nice...
Not particullay a bug but Ceathreamhnans sig is every so slighty too wide for 1024x768 users(Laptop at work before i get flamed)
