Ah well what could my medical issue be?
Lower backs been acheing for weeks, due to (i guess) the heavy work from breaking the car up and shifting the bloody heavy servers at work.
The last few days iv been getting a stabbing pain down the back of my left leg when moving about..
Now this evening i bent down to pick sommit up and as i straightened up it felt like id been stabbed in the back and i damn near fell over, since then my lower back has been killin, can hardly walk :(
Any ideas? lol i guess iv screwed my back then lol
Sciatic nerve issues most likely

More and more unbearable pain! :D :D
Seriously tho, if you know of a reputable chiropractor, they can work magic in these situations.
dunno anyone, will have to get down the drs and see what happens
Instead of going to see your doctor you consult tekforums. +100 geek points!

When you get a 1000 geek points, then you can roll the ten sided die and exponentially affect your constitution numbers!! :D
yeah tis 1337 tbh
gonna see the dr anyway, just wanted opinions as iv never suffered back problems before
get a nail an hammer it through your penis.
it should distract you long enough from your back pain

Go see your firkin doctor or if it is really bad pop into the A&E ward. There are several possibles ranging from muscle strain to slipped or even perforated disk(s). You might even have damaged a bone although its debateable if this is better than a slipped disk (it probably isnt BTW).
been trying to get an appointment for the docs for days, will declare it an emergency tomorrow and get seen.
I like how this thread ended up in waffle, as though crippling/fatiguing back pain is of little consequence
[army] Its *ONLY* pain [/army]
yeah its only pain, everything still works
Moved to GD as it isnt really a Waffle subject ;)
Exactly the same way mine went.
I had shoulder pains for about a week, it moved down my back to my kidney area, then I lost the use of my left leg as everytime I moved it Id end up in agony.
I ended up with a prolapsed disk crushing my sciatic nerve (the left leg pain). Solved by having a Lumbar Steroid Epidural, Two needles... one goes inside the other, and I can honestly say the most painful injection ive ever had. They aint small needles either.... THEY ARE HUGE!! like an apple corer the one of em! :|
feck dat! im not a fan of needles let along big F off ones lol
just wait till the pain gets mworse, then youll be begging for the needles :)
when I had kidney stones they jabbed 6 needles in my ass one after another and I didnt even notice because I was so destracted with the pain.
tho, 6 different types of pain killer in your ass = win !
(morphine, dick-a-la-phenic, codine, paracetamol, erm... 2 otheres as well :) )
well they have looked me over and said "time off work heres some diazepam, dont drink, drive or do anything"
its sciatic nerve and probably an inflamed disc (apparently slipped disc is a common misconception)
They booked you in for an MRI to rule it out?
I had a 6 month wait on mine. Sucked ass!!!
I had Dihydrocodine I think and Diazapam (Muscle relaxant/Tranquilizer aka... Valium), until they could have me in to do the epidural.
Makes you feel more like crap than the actual pain in some cases :)
Muhahah for private health/medical care ;)
The only good thing about Mc.Donalds after 3 years of being on thier books, not nessecerialy working all the time you get free Health Care and the policy is pritty damned good :)
nah just playing the see if it gets better game at the moment
