In preperation for moving out into our own place me and the mrs have been buying stuff for our future house. Weve picked up a cheap chest of drawers and computer station and stuff and tonight Im picking up a 32" Philips TV I won on ebay for £100.00 its only basic CRT (nice finish to it though) but will be ample for us. Cant wait to get my own living room with this bad boy set up!!

It might not be the latest technology but it certainly looks nice. Price seems very reasonable too. Unless you want HDTV it should last you quite a bit ;)
The spare TV we have is a 32" 1366*768 LCD. Main one is a hooge 47" 1080P LCD that Im using with my compy ATM :)
The one issue I have is that every other TV I look at now is small in comparison :/
Got to love spanking money new furnishings :)
I hated having to get shot of loads of stuff when I moved out of my flat and back in with the rents. I have a lot of stuff in storage but somethings where just not worth the cost of storing, besides I like buying new stuff too :)

I know your pain. I had a 32" in my bedroom for years. My room was 11 * 7 (a small box room) and so a 32" TV was huge. When I moved my flat, the 32" just didnt cut it so I out and buy a projector :D Now I am back at home in a different (bigger) room, so Ive downsized to a 42" Plasma. I suspect the plasma will become the bedroom TV in my next place !
Like it!
Id be clucking landed If I could £100 for my 32" TV

Go for it bud ... like with everything you have to start somewhere. I have mates who just have a portable CRT in their lounge as after buying a bed, sofa, etc ... just have no monies for nice shiney LCDs.
Bugger me its heavy!! With the three back seats taken out of my dads picasso it just fit in - and anyone who knows picassos knos you can get a hell of a lot in the back!
TV is in beautiful condition and picture is really nice. Cant wait to move now!!! :D
Youve done alright there, I just sold my 32" CRT for £50, they are worth bugger all these days. I only paid £150 for it new anyway, I just wanted rid...
... and yes they are forking heavy when doing a 1 man lift. Hernia inducing :gag:
