So long as your alright thats all that matters innit :)

Dents and bodywork can be sorted out by ripping the crap out of the twats insurance. Human body parts not so good at the whole repairing/replace thing. :)

If it isnt his fault then it wont be his insurance that goes up.

i have only had one serious accident, span off a dual carrigeway at XXXmph and went through a fence down a ditch through a hedge and slid to a halt in the middle of a field. Never been upside down in a car ever.

How many accidents have you had so far then?  And some how every time its always completely someone elses fault?

"His lights were too bright and caused my spiderman-esque reflexes to fail at 100mph.  Ergo, it was his fault I took the scenic route, upside down."

meh yes yet another person has inconvenienced me by crashing into my car.. i can see why thats confusing.

Of the 5 accidents i have been involved with in circa 4 years 1 has been well and truly my fault.. speeding on a dual carrigeway and loosing control

the rest have been:

2x someone running into the back of my car when i was stopped
1x this guy pulling into my path at the last second and i was unable to avoid
1x a deer stood in the road and was unable to stop or avoid, yes it could be argued that if i was doing 5mph i wouldnt have hit it but if that approach is used everyone needs to pull over and walk from now on FFS

Youve had the second most accidents out of anyone I know. See your self lucky in a way a friend of myn has gone through 7 cars in 2 years. 6 of them Right Ofs. Supposdly due to someone else but its usually due to his foolish driving at times and thinking he is the king of the road these accidents have happened.

So back to a Calibra? How about you get something that aint Vauxhall and try from there. Maybe a Civic? Or something safe like a pritty new Laguna.

Dude not a 4x4! I was thinking while posting that please dear god dont get a 4x4 then I thought nahhh he couldnt be that dumb!

Do not get a 4x4! Do you do off roading? Do you have a large family and travel a lot? If you seem to have so many crashes its not the way to go, you will kill someone with a 4x4, 4x4s are death trap for people that drive regular cars, imagine a 4x4 going into your cali. You would die....

I didnt say it was your fault now did I? Im just saying you get into a fair few accidents. 4x4s are killer. You want something to tow another car, get a Turbo Diesel Estate, more than enough Torque.
Title: Good start to the weekend... (warning horrific pics)
Post by: Binary Shadow on February 12, 2007, 13:34:05 PM
its weight i need not torque

and why does it matter if i have had a fair few accidents if of those hardly any are my fault.. it just doesnt

uh yeah i could have avoided snellys mx-3 rearranging the back of my car easy that night.. i could have got a lift with him rather than drove myself.. hindsight r0x!

just the field really, theres no way anyone could have avoided the deer tbh only by cornering at 5mph and i bet no one does that so that 1 maybe 1 1/2 that could have been avoided

i have to say that only a bad driver would avoid hesitation if he/she wasnt entirely sure lets face it youd rather hold someone up a few second then get wiped out by some truck

Some people are more acident prone than others even if it is not their fault (other driver pulling out in front of etc.) other less acident prone drivers would be more observant and avoid the crazy drivers moves even if he is in the wrong and should lose in court.

can anyone see the irony in that post?!

Youre being a wild pig TBVH.

One of the Top Gear presenters was nearly totalled by a range rover pulling out just in front of the sports car he was driving, had anything been coming the other way he would have been dead. Luckily he managed to get around it.

This time it looks like some idiot pulled out as he was going past and hit the side of his car. Totally unavoidable. Some people are just unlucky and get hit several times

*cough*Jonah*cough*
