Regarding sliding backs, totally agree. Smashed mine and dunked it due to the sliding back. Bought a vinyl black leather skin from dbrand.com and haven't had a problem since, looks stock too everyone thinks that's just the way it is. Well worth it.

Is the slidey-ness any worse than the iPhone? I coped ok with those so hopefully the nexus won't be too bad. Gotta wait 3-5 days for delivery now :/

The Nexus is the slidey-est phone I've ever had, I'm sure they coated the glass on the rear in teflon.

Seriously slidey. It practically floats across otherwise flat surfaces to smash on floors.
