Same old same old. Being raped by Knighty.
excuse me.... iirc I didn't even rape you once last weekend ?
(tho I did tell your wife every embarrassing storys about you that I could think of....)
I was there while you were telling her most of them.
it wouldn;t have been funny if you weren't there
I'm still here. Just about. :P
Work, unpacking, work, bit of living. Mostly work, but I'm enjoying it :ptu:
So when are any of you going to visit me in Sydney?
Which is better: NZ or AUZ
Furthest i have been in years is Sunderland. :dunno:

Both are just different.
Australia - Bigger, more things
New Zealand - VERY Pretty, Nice people
In terms of me and Sydney etc.
Sydney:- Lots always happening
- All the celebs, big shows etc always come here. I saw Adam Savage out and about yesterday for example as Mythbusters are here. Inbetweeners are in Sydney right now. I have seen more celebs in the last year then I ever have. Sam worthington walked in our work office to get away from the PAP's for example.
- LOTS of places to eat
- Lots of things to do and see, shows and events - always something
- New Years was F'ING Amazing, Fireworks going off every hour from like 8 up to the hour. Big show for the kids so families can say to them "Happy New Year' and go early (smart!)
- Everything is here like apple, not like in New Zealand. Your think breaks - book in to apple store and they just replace things under warranty, not even both fixing most things, and even when they do - They replaced my screen the same day before I finished other shopping in the mall!
- Train system is good, double decker trains
- Better pay then in NZ
- Living costs higher then in NZ
- More food options and more stuff here, Video game on Xbox360/one in NZ - $130+ off the bat and they still do the high price first week and instant drop to $100 a week later. Here in AU - LOTS cheaper
- Electrical cheaper in AU then NZ
- Quick trip out west in Sydney - Instantly hotter
- AU hotter then NZ
New Zealand:
- Less busy
- People are more polite since there are less people
- Amazing views
- Amazing place
- South Island is amazing
- Close to beach pretty much all the time
But things are more expensive and it is a bit more closed off so not as good net etc.
Bugs:
NZ - BIG ass Weta's and Mozzies
Au - Mozzies and things like this f**ker in our bathroom a few months ago:
Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.
Sounds like you prefer Australia then, given your list of pros is much longer.
In terms of things to do, money earned, places to see and options available to you - Australia is better.
If your up for retiring or slowing down and chilling more - New Zealand.
It is only 2/3 flight from Sydney to Auckland though so it is easy to go to and from.
I'd love to visit Aus. John Bishop did a great mini series on Aus a few weeks back and it looks an amazing country.
Same old, moved away from SME MSP work after 7 years, enjoyed the job, loathed the market place & people, gone to work public sector specifically as a networking monkey, that was 6 months ago.
