Title: Idiot sets out to try and swim Atlantic
Post by: Serious on August 01, 2012, 12:56:38 PM
An impromptu attempt to swim 3595 miles without any support, food or water?

Luckily for him he was picked up or he would have been the next Darwin awards winner.

A friend a mine was part of a team who rowed the Atlantic unsupported, and last month he attempted to single handedly row the Pacific unsupported (http://www.pacific2012.com/) but was hit by a tropical monsoon and had to be rescued.

I though that was madness ... but this, this is madness. I love that he had to be persuaded to be rescued, like he still thought he had a chance.
