yup.  Rarely ever bored so think I could fill eternity.  Assuming other things lasted too.  Would get pretty boring if the universe collapsed and you just had to float about with nothing around.

Kinda curious how things turn out...

Well if the body would stay fit like a 26 year old maybe,  otherwise I think it would get boring after 3-400 years.

Two good issues, at least from my perspective. My body is crapped out, so being broken forever isnt particularly attractive.

Ive been writing about characters that just dont age rather than are immortal and boredom might become an issue after a while too.

also its best not to fall into something hot, like a pool of liquid metal a sun, or even a black hole.

Then what about other people? I can see being immortal on your own could end up with other issues, like everyone you know dying around you.

"Oh dear, life on Earths been destroyed and you are on your own from now on, no man Friday to talk to either."

Immortality might just suck eventually.

No way would I want to be immortal, to watch everyone I know grow old and die?

I am sure if anyone would be imortal there would be a depression stage just like ground hog day where you know you cant die yet try all manner of ways to attempt it

If people thought it through it would be an amazing gift but equally and amazing curse to you.

Bit like Nietzsches Eternal Recurrence - would you be happy living the same life over and over again until eternity?

As for immortality, yes please - I suspect youd get used to the watching everyone you know die at some point  :?

Motorhead - Ace of Spades - who wants to live for ever baby.

Maybe a few hundred years, but after that I definitely would be bored.

mmm would need some sort of FTL capable space ship and no ageing past early 20s and I reckon it would be fun for a few million years at least. Still if you hit a "heat death of the universe" kind of scenario that would be significantly less cool. Edit- or now that I think about it, rather cooler than anticipated but not in the good way.
