Title: is it manly enough now?

Rode to get some mower fuel and realized the absurdity of the image:

:D

It probably confused the local hippie hold outs.

If you added up the calories of energy in a gallon of gas, I bet it would be something like 1000mpg.

If you want to work it out, figure out how many calories are in a gallon, then estimate it with my personal figures:
I ride 17 miles in an hour in urban areas (low traffic time)
Hard riding burns 800 calories an hour for a fellow my weight....so 50 calories per mile.

A nice bowl of spaghetti and meatballs would have roughly 500 calories, and would power me 10 miles. It would cost $3 to make, the same price as gas now.

Crap, my bike gets worse mileage than a Ford Excursion.

Got the figures: with an American gallon of gas, which is 31,000 calories, if you could drink it, youd get 600-1000mpg. :D :D

17mph is good, I used to average 16 and I rode pretty much everywhere, even to the pub once (that was interesting getting home) ;).
