After the debacle of my dealings with the French police the weekend before last (http://www.tekforum.co.uk/posts/list/14005.page) I had another run-in with them today, and after the French f**king me about I managed to get my own back on one of there fine countrymen...
Was coming up to a traffic light which went orange, had an Audi A3 tailgating me big style so I went through pretty much as it went to red, the Audi followed me through, still hanging on my bumper, gendarme car was at the front of the lights on the cross road, pulled us both over, apparently (and have looked online and confirmed) its illegal to drive thru an orange light, tis a €35 fine, but i talked myself out of it explaining how the audi was tailgating me and it would have caused an accident to stop, which the driver of the a3 accidentally admitted to so i got off with a warning about going through orange lights and she got going through a RED light (€150 fine and 4 points) and dangerous driving (fine determined by the court and 6 more points)... so not only did i get off scot free i stuffed a frenchy, woop woop!!

The whole tailgating + lights thing happens too often to me over here, being in a micra. One of these days Im just gonna slam on the brakes and take the fecker to court. Its no doubt going to cost them more to repair their fecking sports car than it will my micra.
