Title: Marinade for chicken/vegetables? (kebab on BBQ)
Post by: Kunal on May 29, 2008, 11:33:44 AM
Hopefully if the weather holds up Ill have a BBQ this weekend.

Ive picked up some free range chicken from a farm near my parents place which my dads been ranting and raving about, thinking about marinating it for a day or two in something and cooking them on the BBQ.

Any suggestions?

I was going to go with Nandos (sadly Ive become hooked on extra hot), until my mum gave me some of her home made chutney made using habaneros, scotch bonnets, romano peppers and a lot of lime.

Marinated the chicken for 24 hours in that mixed with a few table spoons of soy sauce.

It was hot and tasty :)

Heres a tip: never, i repeat NEVER eat a scotch bonnet whole for a dare while drunk. Bloody thing stung for the next 3 days.
