Title: Need a very small amount of bitcoin
Post by: addictweb on January 17, 2013, 21:10:12 PM
I need 1BTC to pay for something but my account has 0.96472119 BTC in it. I dont really want to cash in another £10 (min) as I only need 1BTC as a one off.

Is anyone able to transfer / sell me 0.035 BTC?

Dammit! I now have 0.99972119 BTC, any chance of another 0.0003BTC ? Sorry to be a pain.

The first still says unconfirmed but I dont seem to have any option to confirm, I assume its a system confirmation?

Yes its a system confirmation (needs approval through the blockchain)

I may be able to give you that!

I don't have bitcoin reinstalled but I'll do that and have a look for you.

Got to this a bit late :lol: I also have some if you're still desperate.

Nice to see BTC being accepted at more places now, but howcome you have to use a minimum of £10 to xfer to BTC?

Thanks all, really appreciate the assistance.

The bitcoin wallen I'm using only allows cashing in of £10 or over, I transferred £10 expecting 1BTC but forgot about the fees.

@Egg You guessed it.

It's probably not even a penny I gave you but it actually did me a favour as I refused to delete my wallet/bitcoin database until I'd emptied it, so I've reclaimed 5Gb of space now ;D

I hope this doesn't become another situation like where that guy bought a pizza with 10,000BTC, which is currently worth £110,000 :lol:

I can see how you could easily end up gutted having left the toggle on BTC instead of mBTC ;D
