Got a new job*!!   :D

C# developer for one of the biggest commodities traders in the world. Much more exciting that my banking IT job at the moment, but I expect it will be tough!

Huge payrise as well  :nana: :cheers:

Haha.

Thanks all. New job is in .NET 4.0 and using almost entirely WPF front ends, I've used neither before so I think its going to be a tough first few weeks.

If I make it through the probation period I'll be a surprised and happy man.

Presumably this is some commodities firm that is actually involved in producing/processing or extracting these commodities too rather than some standalone trading operation?
