Its a good thing in a way but its going to be a bad year ended in a dodgy way :/

December 4th I Finally after a whole year waiting to see him this Autherpedic specialist with regard to my hand who will hopefully say "this and this and this i will do in this operation"
Thing is there is if it is to long a wait we will take the information and scans about what is needed to be done and go private to get it done sooner.

Then for the 3 mondays before Xmas day I have to go into hospital to have these small operations with regard to the nerve damage, the ones I had in the summer.
I hate these, they kill your arm and due to how powerful the drugs as part of the treatment are they scew your heart quite a bit and takes the whole week to get over then your back in for another go :/
So xmas is not going to be brill.

I need sleep though, 1 and a half years of no sleep is f**ked me up to much, Even if I am tired now I have to take sleeping pills and anti de-presents but sometimes I just get insomnia, want to sleep but cant :/

dont get me wrong I am glad things are finally moving but still, around xmas is a bummer :/
My hope is that they can sort the nerves just enough so I can at least do some running and stuff more (vibrations you get send it nuts then it swells up cutting of circulation and all that) to try and get into the fitness grove I am used to.
Then Have the operation at some point and will be nice to at least write and grip stuff again after physio.
Rugby _ NEEED to go back to, will I? I really hope so but early doctor comments is no sports involving hands at all - Sucky but they say people wont walk again and they do.

If feel for ya, my dad is going into hospital on the 19th of December, wont be a great one for me either (or him!).

Think of it as a gift. Youl be able to ejoy porn more. Rehab should prove to be quite enjoyable. Forget those silly squeezy balls....

Been on the no sleep bit with my back but usually only for a couple of nights at a time, also spent a long time doing 2 hours sleep a night. Take painkillers, wait, dive into bed, sleep 2 hours, wake up in pain.

ATM I am getting six-seven hours a night on an inflatable mattress, providing I take aspirin, a couple 30/500 co-codamol and give it a good electrocuting with a TENS machine...

Still cant get to sleep before at least 4 AM though.

No operation options and I have side effects from the stronger NSAIDs  so cant take them.

Doc: learn to live with it. Sargent-Major: its only pain...

PuNk

lets just hope it gets a little better over xmas, itd be a nice present.

Exactly, dont look at it as being a bad thing, your christmas aint gonna suck its gonna be fantastic after all you could have your hand sorted now surely that should be the best christmas present you could possibly have.

Good luck with the operations and start looking forward to all the things youll be able to do, esepcially a good nights sleep. :D

Ill echo PuNk and Russells sentiments, I think it could be the start of a very happy Christmas and a much brighter new year. I hope it all goes well for you Liam. :)

Remember not to try to run before you can walk, take it easy and dont try too hard or even if the operations are a success you might end up back where you started. Dont do too much too early.

And good luck, hope these ops solve the problems ;)

Yeah I know, sleeping and gripping this would be a nice thing next year

*she-devil*

Try to think of it as a xmas present, it will be the best one ever if it gets rid of your problems finally.
