How in the heck do you tell if they are still valid?
Specifically this one: [removed - dont want to give too much away innit] :)
Its original document is in japanese so I cant read it to see what its "claims" are, nor if my idea crosses over in some way over them. I also cant see if its a valid patent anymore as there "no legal information"
So how on earth do you read patents in general?
Is there any sites giving advice on this sort of thing? preferably free.
I have a pretty functional understanding of Kyoiku kanji now (????) (upto 800 or so characters), maybe I could take a look? :)
