I purchased a used Tektronix 2246 oscilloscope on ebay without knowing too much about oscilloscopes. I am an amateur radio operator and have taken several electronics courses and fool around with projects at home. I note that the oscilloscope is without probes. Can you recommend the appropriate probes for this model? I am looking for basic probes for experimenting on simple electronics. Do the probes need to be for this model, specifically? Is there any other collateral equipment needed for the operation of this oscilloscope?

Your post has telltale signs of being a bit spammy... Can you verify if you are human, alien (since the interest in probes) or spambot? :)

BTW, I know nothing about oscilloscopes and their probing paraphenalia :o

I actually need an oscilloscope so I can try something out...I want to do an electrocardiogram on a daphnia :D
