Something reminded me earlier today of a series of Sci Fi pictures that the library at my school used to have and having looked about on the net I cant seem to find any, so I was wondering if anyone on here had an idea as to who drew them etc.

The one that sticks in my mind is of a giant yellow spaceship, with black highlights I think, on the right side of the ship was a giant two pronged pincer and most of the rest of the picture was taken up by a giant asteroid/iceberg in space type object.  The spaceship was heading away from the picture towards this giant asteroid.

There was a series of similar pictures, presumeably by the same artist, seem to remember seeing some on the cover of el cheapo sci fi novels.

I was just wondering if anyone new of them and who did them etc so I could see about finding them on the old interweb.

Many thanks!

I think I read the book a good few years back. Unfortunately I cant remember what it was called. On some paperback books the picture is changed so there can be several different illustrations for the same content.

Managed to find it, its by a guy called Chris Foss and the pictures called Icebergs In Space.  At least I think it is, its not exactly the picture I remember but now Ive seen it am fairly sure its the same thing or if not close enough for now.

You might not find that one, although I will continue looking, but there may be others you do like too.
