Venice of the West?

Yep, complete lack of taste there, but with the flooding being dealt with it is an issue that could repeat regularly in the future, the storm surge was in excess of what was expected for a five hundred year storm. Cost to repair $50 BILLION.

Even Romney has admitted that humans were affecting the weather and world temperatures, although he then contradicted that and then repeated it later.

QuoteMitt Romney: I am not a scientist myself, but my best assessment of the data is that the world is getting warmer, that human activity contributes to that warming, and that policymakers should therefore consider the risk of negative consequences. However, there remains a lack of scientific consensus on the issue — on the extent of the warming, the extent of the human contribution, and the severity of the risk — and I believe we must support continued debate and investigation within the scientific community.

Still, it doesn't stop corporations pulling out the FUD and claiming it isn't happening. Then the same happened over DDT, lead in petrol, tobacco...

Don't see an issue with the brand - if they're going to have to keep on rebuilding going forwards then 'New' York is quite appropriate....

Perhpas, as egg suggested, New New York - if things get really apocalyptic....
