As a bit of a spin-off from the Show us your desktop thread I thought it might be nice to show off what you have going on your PDAs (those of you who have them)

I have to admit the idea was stolen from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=26468&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=today+screen&start=0

But never-the-less I guess it might be interesting. Ive spent the last two days editing and tweaking/perfecting a Vista-like theme I found for my PPC and am just dying to show it off!

one needs to bling up ones mda compact 2. where does one cquire such rizzle dizzle as shown on your screencapizzles?

Yeah, I was going to ask how you got a nice theme like that. What OS are you running?

The software used to theme the device is called WisBar Advanced 2 and is only $9.99. While (obviously) there are keygens available I would really encourage anyone who is going to use it to buy the software...the guys who produce it are *really* active in their forums and repond quickly to bug fixes etc and you can get a 7 day trial.

The theme being used is a modification of the one found on XDA Developers, The origional is very graphics intensive and unless you have a top of the range (600mhz+) device it can run a bit slowly. Im working on removing some of the gradients images and just replacing them with a single background color...changes I have made so far have improoved response times by (about) 40%

You know you can overclock your PPC to 627mhz quite easily. Theres apps out there that do it, its all they do with the Dell Axims :)

Im using pocket hack master to scale my cpu between 200 and 500 mhz depending on cpu load...any faster and my battery dosent last me a whole working day.

lol :) aye I used something similar, also at 627mhz things got warm... not hot, but just warmer.

Which PDA was that with ?

useless installer on that screen capture software, it extracts the setup.exe to temp folder but if there is already a setup.exe it uses something else and then loads the setup.exe that is nothing to do with that program....

btw... if you have an Ipaq with "itask" button. you can do delayed screenshots, and screenshots with it anyway.

You just need to assign "delayed screen capture" and "screen capture" to an itask menu entry.

I mean they do... um... jack $, tomtoms about the only useful thing they run. I suppose worms world party aswell, handy for those lengthy visits to la porcelain pot.

I try to use mine just becuase I have one but cant find a decent use for it at all.

Theyre even worse, I have a HTC Universal, doing SFA.

Had it 4 months, used it twice. Its outta power and is sat in my laptop bag, where its been ever since.

I had a Magician prior, and that was okay, but again was only for novelty, and the novelty quickly wore off. So flogged it on and got a proper phone.
