This is normal, though its usually heavier around Lancashire.  At the moment it seems to be saving itself up.

8 inches of snow here yesterday.

Its a warm part of France and at 150m above sea level, must be pretty good in the mountains!

Normal?  The last 2 years it has been march.  Including that night where it put the road system in chaos.  People ended up ditching their cars and either walking home or sleeping there.
