Any recommendations for a good, not expensive, fibre internet provider?
Also going to need to look in to all the other services, but internet is most important ;)
Looking on comparison websites they all seem a bit scammy, the cheapest options, once you do the maths, working out a fair bit more over 12 months!
From my experience, Virgin are the cheapest by far IF you are also getting a TV subscription.
I'm having to move away from Virgin with my next house move, haven't yet found anything that compares in price and speed.
last time I looked, plusnet was the cheapest non scummy one
iirc, plusnet have some deal with BT, so BT do there fibre support / customer service... or something like that ?
Congrats, nice with new house :)
I'm with PlusNet, their introductory offers are cheap but the price goes back to normal after a bit. Service is good though, I have no complaints, I've only had any downtime once in about 6 months.
Is there really much difference between them price wise?
Just sign up for virgin and don't worry about saving 10 pence a year with ScouserNet.
got virgin media here, great if you are in a cable area :ptu:
Not too fussed about TV...considering being cheapskates and not watching Live tv/having a licence!
Going with plusnet I think. 80mbps, much faster than the 6 I get at the moment...
Oh, and if anyone is in/around Norfolk, or planning a trip out that way, let me know!
Not even had my re-connection at my new house for a week yet, very pleased:

I prob get 900
It actually delivers pages I haven't clicked the links to yet.
I bet its faster than Data locking out the main computer with a fractal encryption route.

Not to shabby on virgin here :)
I find the extra upload very useful, but daaaayuuuum thats fast download
Couldn't pay me to have Virgin tbh.
Never had any issues with virgin, but yeah their limited uploads can sometimes be a bit annoying
