Spotted: Forum member in the real world (adam2975)

On the way to work this morning I spotted a lovely black smart roadster Brabus on the M5 (around Junction 8 ).

Upon overtaking im pretty certain I recognised the face of adam2975!! I didnt have time to grab a camera ... just wanted to know if I have finally spotted a forum member in RL.

Anyone else ever had their internet and real life meet unexpectedly?

Oh yeh, thats true. Didnt meen to forget you Rich! (But i did ) I can infact remember the point i found out you were M3ta7h3ad, you were posting on Tek during a lab session. Its a small couple of worlds.

Not with this forum, I discovered recently that an old friend of my Dads posts on a camera forum which I frequent. I didnt even know he was a photographer!

Ive met plenty of internet folk, but its always been though planned meet ups.

When I used to kick about in on the SV forums and lived in London used to catch alot of people out and about but no-one from Tek (apart from Rivkid but he doesnt count)

Well i know me and metalhead were in the same year at uni on the same course, in the same lectures, and never realised until we met up through a Samcrasher.

Alas it was not me, the Roadster is in my garage at the moment awaiting its apointment with a winstar system (needs to re learn the clutch biting point).

Wrong area of the country for me too (live in North Yorkshire and work in Newton Aycliffe)

I have never met anyone i know from the internet, i nearly called in at Tekheads once for a browse due to being in the area but thats as close as i have been really.

Its not quite real life, but when I first joined last.fm, there was a period of some months when I was musical-taste neighbours with another forums member...small world!
