Clock'd One, I guess you came up with making Tekforums compatible with iPhone by using Tapatalk.

Very neat idea. :)

No actually, but it's nice to know you think so highly of me

Funny you should mention it though I updated the client earlier today, so I'm glad to see it's still working. I think it might have been soopahfly that first suggested it.

Forum search Batch and you can see a big thread.
You may have not noticed the forums is using new php based software (simple machines) and Tapatalk is part of that. We also did an improved design layout etc.

It looks great. Very easy to use and layout is great both on Tapatalk and Simple Machines when on my PC.

Strange, there's no newer version available and I've not changed anything? I can't see a problem anywhere!

It works! No idea what you've done but now working ;)

Last few days have been getting connection errors on both tablet and phone when trying to bring up the forum while XDA forums were working fine.

Does appear to be something like hosting/dns as it works for about 10-15minutes (like now) but then nothing for few hours.

I think I will request that they transfer everything over the US datacentre soon, I'm getting seriously fed up of dealing with them.

I gave up a while ago of trying to use tapatalk, just use safari on my phone for the forums as 9/10 times I get a message saying that the forum admin haven't enabled the plugin...

Just updated the Tapatalk plugin

QuoteSMF 2.0 RC4/RC5/Final - Version 3.0.2

1. fix some content format issue
2. fix some warning issue in error log
3. fix post issue with verification
4. fix participated topic and user profile view can not work issue in some case
5. fix can not send pm issue in some case

6. add custom forum icon support

Board icon setting:

In app side, before each category or board name, it will display an icon for it, for example, the default one on iPhone side is that cool microphone :D
Now you can config it by yourself by adding the icon picture under path 'mobiquo/forum_icons/'. Currently, it support 'jpg' and 'png' format only. Square with size 60*60 is recommended.
An sample here, when you want config borad with id 5 with new icon, here is the order how icon file will be located:
1. mobiquo/forum_icons/5.png
2. mobiquo/forum_icons/5.jpg
3. mobiquo/forum_icons/default.png
4. mobiquo/forum_icons/default.jpg
5. default icon from app

If you want config category with id 5, just change it to 'c5' and everything is the same as above. Take care, please use lowercase 'c', 'jpg' and 'png'.

I'll add some pretty board icons If I find time. :) Let me know if there's any problems with this update.

Having a thing I've only noticed since update. Read all unread posts on tapatalk and then come onto the forum on PC and the sections will say unread in them but all threads read.

Not really an issue but just thought would mention it :P

I'm not sure if/how I could change that so I'll just say ignore it for now  :)

Had some strange issues when replying with quote. Sometimes (not all) it randomly picks a post from another thread to quote from :P

I think when I was trying to reply to the batman thread I kept getting a post from you Clock'd about the depressing lack of smilies on the board from when we first moved to it ;)

Very odd, how long has it been doing that for? I can try running some table checks in case there's a db issue in the meantime.

Only noticed it the other day and only on 2 threads so far (can't remember the other one).

Is anyone still using this?

I keep updating it, I have no idea who is actually using it or not though, the Tapatalk dashboard is sh*te and doesn't work properly.

While I was at it today I also finally got round to fixing the stylesheet issue that was making the dropdown menus look odd (might have only affected the admin side but it was getting on my nerves).
